Mark your calendars - SUMT coming up!

SUMT (Seattle Urban Mission Trip) is coming up!  We hope you'll consider joining us for this fun outreach opportunity.  The dates are Aug 9 - 12, and while we have some fun service projects and activities in place, we're still trying to find a place to stay.  Once that's been confirmed we'll have a flyer and registration up and ready!
We hope you'll join us and invite your friends!

Getting back in the swing of things

Wow!  It's been a long time since I've blogged.  It is so hard to start up again once you've taken a (unintentional) break.  Which I guess is true for so many things in life.
Not that I have anything impressive or motivational to say, just needing to get back in the habit.
We just got back from a fun few days in Enumclaw (that's unnumnumclaw if you're Michael Tait of the Newsboys) enjoying Creation (the music and the beautiful surroundings). The company was awesome, the music (for the most part) was great, and the speakers were inspiring.
Well, that's about it for now.  Hope everyone is having a great summer!
Join us on Sundays 10:45, in the gym!

Blogging and such.

Howdy Blogosphere. I saw Kyle’s poster asking people to blog. So here goes nothing. My very-first-of-all-time-never-before-seen Blog. In the posts to come you may laugh, dance, cry, sing, cry, probably in that order. But for now you can get off your computers and enjoy the great outdoors. The sun is shinning, the air is crisp, and Jesus is alive. Adios.

Godspell This Weekend!

If you live anywhere near 12800 SE Coal Creek Pkwy, and are going to be home this weekend, you should make time to come out and see Godspell.  The youth group had the privilege of being the audience for the dress rehearsal last night and I'm not sure what was funnier, some of the acting on stage or David singing along behind me.  Everyone involved has put in so much time and hard work, and would love to see you in the audience.
Shows are Fri & Sat night 7:00, and Sunday 3:00.
And did I mention there will be cookies during intermission?!  Adam says stay away from the oatmeal chocolate chips ones; according to him they taste too healthy.
